|04:24 pm - Rain + Driving = Cranky Kitty|
Why do people drive like idiots in the rain?
Current Mood: cranky
I had a saying from when I lived in Memphis, TN:
"People get in their cars and put their brains in the trunk. WHen it rains, they leave them at home for fear of them melting!"
I have to remember that!!! *hugs*
because we know how to drive in the rain. Least I do. I remember driving in CA and it sprinked and traffic came to a stand still. It was weird.
Yes that happened as well as people slowing down to a crawl!!!!
I think the worst part about people driving in the rain is, or any bad weather is the fact that some people will not give up their lane or if anything else get off the roadway. This causes bottlenecks and late causes rear end accidents from those who follow too closely.

You're surfing the web from a rest stop???
Because if they stopped to look up to figure out where the rain was coming from... they'd drown.

pfft.. rain. You should try snow.. or slush... or ice :D
I have to get used to that since I am moving to NM!!! *hugs*
Yes...that is one reason to get out. *lol*
Here in Austin when it rains traffic slows to a crawl, as there is an instant wreck on every major hiway.
At least you don't have to deal with idiots who don't know how to drive in snow.
Rain is required for this where you come from? :D
Supposedly sunny California. *hugs*
