Holiday in Albuquerque

I must say for the first time in my life, I am finally experiencing a real winter Christmas. It is so nice to be with my bear who is keeping me nice and warm with his big bear hugs. What have I been doing with my time? Well, I got into a nesting mode. I have been on a baking spree. Tuesday I made pecan bars, yesterday I made brownies today i was going to make cookies but I had work and some errands to run. I actually have a teaching gig and they paid for a rental car for me so I was able to get out and do some necessary errands. I also got to explore a bit of ABQ. I am really beginning to feel at home here.

What have the bear and I been doing at night. Mostly just spending time with each other. Last night we bundled up and took a walk around the neighborhood. Some people go all out to decorate their homes. It was fun to see the nice shiny lights and decorations. It was fun and we came home and shared a shot of Frangelico...yummy!!! Then we decided to just go to sleep and talk for a bit. It was nice to have a restful sleep. I have also been enjoying lunch with the bear. He introduced me to a fun diner on Wednesday and today we went to Red Robin. Then it was to Petsmart, Costco and Target for last minute Christmas stuff. Anyway, tonight is the Nutcracker which I am looking forward to.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I know the holidays can be a bit frustrating and hard to get through but try to find peace and know that all you wonderful people are well loved from me!!!
